Squatting is one of my favourite skills to practice in class because it helps our little ones gain confidence needed to take those independent steps 💪

Ways to start:
⭐️ place toys on an elevated surface so its abit easier than the floor (give support at their hamstrings if they need more help)
⭐️ place suction toys on the fridge, one higher and one lower so they can use the surface as extra support
⭐️ play in a squatted position
⭐️ pick up toys off the floor (with help on their legs or ideally without)

Practice, practice, practice!

One year of my sweet Kali girl 💜

Absolutely wild that a whole year has passed and as much as I celebrate my happy, brave, fearless little baby, I can't help but pause and reflect how this year has challenged me.

I knew it wasn't going to be easy but man, this year was fucking hard. From my ongoing love and hate relationship with breastfeeding to the sleep deprivation, all while managing LM and going back to teaching after a few months- this year has kicked my ass but was the best at the same time.

It's such a trippy experience motherhood, as much as I want to say I thrived, I did not- I struggled, I cried, had moments of rage, and I realize theres no shame in that. I remind myself the strength it took to get through it and how I'm one tough B!!!

I am of course especially grateful for the help from my community- my husband, my family and friends- and even the ability to reach out to all of you and ask for help, TY.

Anyways, I'm having all the feels today because as tough as this year was, I wouldn't change a single thing. I guess thats the wild beauty of motherhood- I have this incredible baby girl who lights up when she sees me, loves to play and be silly and has adapted to our crazy life- it's simply the best.

Feeling extra grateful this year 💜

I hope everyone has a lovely Thanksgiving however, you spend it🦃

I'm so appreciative of all my LM members and those following along. Grateful to have a job that I truly love 🥰 and now being a mom myself has shown me how hard it is to even make it out of the house some days 🫠so for those who come to our weekly program, thank you!!!

Baby getting stuck on the floor??

Try this quick transition TIP to help them push up from the ground!

Roll them to the side, gently push their hip down and get them to use their hands to guide themselves into the sitting position.

Sometimes a little bit of help is all it takes to make the lightbulb go off!
